Our Heavenly Father,
We are not a perfect people. We have been given much and we have squandered the favor with which You have lavished us. We repent of our foolish and wicked ways that have taken us from under the umbrella of Your divine protection that has been over us since our inception as a nation.
We ask You, O Father, to place Your hand of protection around us again as we return to the foot of the cross of Jesus in repentance for our grievous sins and in love for the Savior who washed them away in His shed blood.

We ask You, O Holy One to guard us and keep us secure; we ask You to
wrap our military in Your protection. We ask You to touch the heart of
our leaders and bring them to the foot of the cross where we as a people
may all stand together at the cleansing font of Calvary.
Let us go forth into whatever tomorrow holds as a free and redeemed people who bow before no man but bow before only YOU, JESUS, OUR LORD AND OUR GOD AND OUR SAVIOR!
Let us embrace to our hearts no falsehood, but let our hearts and our minds and our spirits be redeemed by YOU, JESUS, WHO ARE THE WAY, THE TRUTH, AND THE LIFE.
In Your mighty and holy name we pray, Jesus. Amen
