John F. Kennedy was a patriotic American. He was a hero in WW II who risked his life to save the lives of the men on his PT 109. He was humble... when congratulated for his heroics he quipped, "It was involuntary, they sank my boat."
The fact that he swam back to the boat numerous times to rescue all those aboard who were too injured to rescue themselves speaks volumes regarding his character and his resolute determination to follow the military code: 'leave no man behind.'
What would Kennedy think about the current administration's admission
of thousands of unvetted muslim 'refugees' into our country? President
Kennedy is not here to speak for himself, but if the action he took when
the USSR encroached into Cuba is any indication, it would seem our
patriotic president would have deemed the action to be totally
unacceptable.
John Kennedy would never have allowed any encroachment into our nation by an entity that has sworn itself to our destruction. He would not have suffered the kind of criminals who are wreaking havoc in Stockholm. He would not have tolerated the possibility of harm to any American because of misplaced compassion for declared enemies of all we stand for.
Would President Kennedy have the confiscation of guns from Americans at the top of his agenda? Indeed not:
"Today we need a nation of Minute Men; citizens who are not only prepared to take up arms, but citizens who regard the preservation of freedom as a basic purpose of their daily lives and who are willing to consciously work and sacrifice for that freedom. The cause of liberty, the cause of America, cannot succeed with any lesser effort."
TODAY, we need a nation of Minute Men even more than we did when John F. Kennedy spoke these powerful and timely words.
