"Wherefore we receiving a kingdom which cannot be moved, let us have grace, whereby we may serve God acceptably with reverence and godly fear." HEBREWS 12:28
We search for 'reality' in our lives. We want what's real.
There is so much around us that is counterfeit...there is so much that appears desirable but is without merit.
We strive for ascendancy in every area of our lives, only to discover that it does not satisfy.
We strive for power in our lives, only to discover that it is insufficient.
We strive for gain in our lives, only to discover that it is loss.
We strive for fulfillment in our lives, only to discover that we are empty.
There is no temporal thing that we can attain that can satisfy the longing of our souls...to grasp the treasures of the world is to endeavor to seize the air.
But there is something worth embracing with a full heart. There is something worth attaining that can uplift us and enrich us and that something is the eternal treasure of HEAVEN.
When we have set ourselves to own the glories of the FOREVER REALM, we will be the possessors of the one thing that can enrich us for time and eternity! We will own HEAVEN'S PURE GOLD! We will own JESUS!
When we have received the LORD of GLORY as our own, personal LORD and SAVIOR, we will require nothing else, for the TREASURE of GOD'S TRUTH, GOD'S PEACE, GOD'S JOY, GOD'S HOPE, GOD'S LOVE--all --will be ours.
Let us yearn for the KINGDOM'S finest. Let us strive for the KINGDOM'S wonder. Let us reach for the KINGDOM'S glory. Let us set our hearts upon the KINGDOM'S TREASURE--JESUS.
