Man has the ability to rationalize anything...he can take 'truth' wherever he wants it to go.
Man has the ability to justify anger, adultery, theft, murder, mayhem....you name it; if he wants to do it, he can make it 'right' in his own mind.
But the man of GOD will take another route to accomplishing an end that he sees as necessary.
He will search the Holy BIBLE and find the scripture to guide him as he strives to right the wrongs that need his attention.
Rather than being angry, he will not "let the sun go down upon his
wrath." He will follow the Biblical admonition to "be angry and sin
not."
Rather than lust after an adulterous affair, he will honor the scripture that adjures marriage is--a relationship that abides until "death do us part."
Rather than resort to theft, he will trust the LORD who promises to "supply all your needs, according to HIS riches in glory."
Rather than murder his enemies, he will "pray for those who dispitefully use you."
Rather than join the mayhem that is ravaging our cities, he will allow GOD'S "peace that passes understanding to keep his heart and his mind in CHRIST JESUS."
And he will recognize that GOD does not always pay HIS debts on Tuesday...there may not be a swift accounting of the ills that trouble a man's mind, yet he will "wait upon the LORD."
Is it easy to leave all matters of life in the hands of JESUS? That depends upon how completely a man has placed his own life and emotions and thoughts into HIS hands.
Have YOU placed your life fully into the hands of the SAVIOR?
If not, fall upon your knees before HIM and allow the cry of your heart to be, "LORD, I relinquish to YOU everything that troubles my spirit. I trust YOU to cause all things to work together for my good, according to YOUR immutable promise.
