Prayer Initiative

You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind and with all your strength. The second commandment is like the first: You shall love your neighbor as yourself. There is no other commandment greater than these. Mark 12:30-31

There is neither Jew nor Greek, there is neither slave nor free, there is neither male nor female; for you are all one in Christ Jesus. Galatians 3:28

See to it that no one fails to obtain the grace of God; that no "root of bitterness" springs up and causes trouble, and by it many become defiled; Hebrews 12:15

When you are praying, first forgive anyone you are holding a grudge against, so your Father in heaven will forgive your sins, too. Mark 11:25

For God shows no partiality. Romans 2:11

Thank You, Lord, for clearly demonstrating how important relationships are. Thank You for designing us to be in relationships. We ask for Your protection over all our relationships, and for the wisdom to know how to love as you love. Quicken us to approach every relationship in our lives with You in mind.

Thank You, dear Lord, for every loving relationship in our lives. Thank You for the profound blessings and goodness we experience through loving one another. We ask You to make us aware of those who need companionship and caring.

Thank You, Almighty God, for forefathers who established this country on the fact that You created all of us equal in value and dignity before You.

Thank You for the 600,000 who gave their lives during the fight to make sure that all men are free in America.

We ask You to destroy the enemy’s attempts to destroy relationships.

Give us, Lord, appreciation and respect for the ways You created us different, one from another.
Forgive our judgments against others and place in our hearts generosity of spirit toward others.
Give us the grace to forgive each others mistakes, as You forgive ours.

Heal the wounds of our past, Lord, and set us free from division, dissension, deception and manipulation.

We pray for racial reconciliation, and we ask that true healing begin in the church. May the watching world see how, under the banner of Christ, true unity can be found.

We ask You to guide Americans into understanding, acceptance, respect and love among the races.
Father, You have made it clear that a house divided against itself cannot stand. Show us the way, dear Lord, to find common ground in our nation and in our relationships.

“I ask patient forbearance one toward another throughout the land, and a determined effort on the part of every citizen to do his part toward cementing a happy union; and I ask the prayers of the nation to Almighty God in behalf of this consummation.” President Ulysses S. Grant
