May the spirit of unity and hope and anticipation of good in the future overflow all the people of the land who have grasped the hope that President-elect Trump fully intends to employ his business acumen and his energy to "MAKE AMERICA GREAT AGAIN."
May we who believe in the glorious CHRIST whose birth we celebrate this month come before HIM with thanksgiving for this new president who loves AMERICA and yearns to restore greatness to this nation and its citizens.
Yet may we also beseech our HOLY SAVIOR for a restoration of faith in the hearts and minds of our people in HIM, our "WONDERFUL, COUNSELOR, MIGHTY GOD, EVERLASTING FATHER, PRINCE OF PEACE," knowing that for success, the "government must be upon HIS shoulder," Isaiah 9:6.
May we pray that JESUS renew in us a hunger for righteousness, knowing
that indeed, "RIGHTEOUSNESS EXALTS A NATION, BUT SIN IS A REPROACH TO
ANY PEOPLE."
May we pray the II Chronicles 7:14 prayer to HIM: "IF MY PEOPLE, WHO ARE CALLED BY MY NAME, WILL HUMBLE THEMSELVES AND PRAY AND SEEK MY FACE, AND TURN FROM THEIR WICKED WAYS, THEN WILL I HEAR FROM HEAVEN AND FORGIVE THEIR SIN AND HEAL THEIR LAND."
May we pray for our new president, that he, Donald Trump, will serve the LORD in righteousness as he serves this nation and its interests and its people.
If believers will do that, we will go forward as a great CHRISTIAN ARMY, rising up in faith who will be able to be proud to be AMERICANS again.
