Have you contemplated what a wondrous blessing peace and joy truly are?
The PEACE the LORD gives never fades away. No matter what adverse circumstances you may be facing, HE extends to you, "THE PEACE OF GOD THAT PASSES UNDERSTANDING."
Even
if your situation seems beyond remedy, even if your own natural
resources pale in comparison to the challenges you face, HIS PEACE will
be with you, "KEEPING YOUR HEART AND YOUR MIND IN CHRIST JESUS," and
there's the key.
HIS PEACE keeps you in CHRIST. You may know beyond the shadow of doubting that because of HIM, nothing can overcome you; no challenge can overwhelm you, for in JESUS, your peace will never fade away.
And JOY!
Of JOY, HIS WORD, that cannot fail and cannot lie assures in Nehemiah 8:10 that: "THE JOY OF THE LORD IS YOUR STRENGTH."
The HOLY ONE does not simply give you peace without giving you the strength to hold fast to it !
Wherever you are in life; whatever your challenges may be, remember that PEACE and JOY are yous in the midst of your circumstances...and not only those precious commodities are yours, but also:
PROVISION for your every need, "according to HIS riches in glory"--because HE has first given you HIS "LOVE that never fails."
HIS PEACE keeps you in CHRIST. You may know beyond the shadow of doubting that because of HIM, nothing can overcome you; no challenge can overwhelm you, for in JESUS, your peace will never fade away.
And JOY!
