Praying

LORD JESUS, we ask YOU to wrap our troops in YOUR love and power and protection.

We ask YOU to guide them and to guard them as they stand guard over us.

We ask YOU to keep them out of harm's way as they shield us from harm.

We ask YOU to quicken to their hearts and minds an awareness of who they should trust and who they should not trust. We ask YOU to tell them where they should step and where they should not step. We ask YOU to let them know when they should speak and when they should be silent. We ask YOU to apprise them of when they should relax and when they must be alert and on guard.

Above all, precious JESUS, we ask YOU to hold them close to YOUR heart of love that they might find and appropriate the SALVATION YOU have provided for them.

In YOUR mighty, matchless name we ask, JESUS. Amen.
