JESUS knew that HE would be an offense ( Romans 9:33
"as it is written: See, I lay in Zion a stone of stumbling, and a rock of offense; but the one who believes in Him will never be put to shame.") He knew that those who would not believe they needed a Savior and would not receive HIS "unspeakable gift" (II Corinthians 9:15) of salvation.
He said further that if the world hated HIM, it would also hate those who follow HIM. (See John 15:18.)

How far are you willing to go?
How much are you willing to sacrifice?
How profoundly are you willing to suffer?
How much of your life are you willing to give?
...All that JESUS may be lifted up through your words, through your deeds, through your witness, through your sacrifice?
The Babe of Bethlehem came to die for us.
What are we willing to do for HIM?
