The WORD tells us that a tongue is a very unruly member.
It reminds us that "Out of the same mouth proceeds blessing and cursing? This ought not to be." James 3:10
One effective remedy for the problem of the tongue is to occupy it by proclaiming the goodness, the mercy, the righteousness, the salvation, the love of JESUS, for when we are lifting HIM up, we are ourselves brought out of the mire of our human proclivity to banter about foolish things and lifted to the Solid Rock of HIS Truth.
I could never fathom the depths of His mercy and great love.
