LORD JESUS, the opposition to our new President Donald Trump exceeds mere political disagreement. When disruptive protests are organized and caches of weapons are found along the inaugural route; when jihadists are scheming border disruptions, it becomes apparent that something insidious and diabolical is going on.
PRECIOUS JESUS, we ask YOU to send YOUR Heavenly Host to stand guard around our new leader and his entourage; we ask YOU to cause the hand of the enemy to tremble in his mischief and to be so weakened that he cannot hold a weapon or discharge his plans...we pray his lawless schemes will backfire in the faces of those who would perpetrate them.
We thank YOU for this band of PRAYER WARRIORS who have pledged
themselves to prayer for and to the protection of President Trump and
Vice President Pence. We ask YOU to cause the power of their prayers to
undo the godless opposition.
YOUR HOLY WORD says, "The same power that raised JESUS from the dead lives in you (believers)," Romans 8:11, and we ask YOU to allow YOUR people to effectively use that power to thwart the enemy completely and to release YOUR purposes and effect YOUR will through our newly-appointed leaders.
It is in YOUR mighty, matchless, glorious name we pray, JESUS. Amen.
