The Spirit of Lawlessness

The WORD of GOD that cannot fail and cannot lie tells us that lawlessness will abound in the time that is called "the Last Days."

Although "no man knows the day or the hour" that JESUS will return, HE has given us signs that indicate that HIS arrival to redeem HIS own from an ever-more godless planet is imminent. 

The reality is that presidents have been elected in the past that were not popular among all the people. The reality is that people who were dissatisfied with the outcome of the November vote were eager for the next election cycle so they could once again allow their voice to be heard.

It has not been the practice of those disgruntled voters to endeavor to stop the inauguration proceedings or to rise up as protesters or rioters in order to evidence their disdain.

That intention regarding the inauguration of Donald Trump is not only disruptive to the smooth transition of government but it is also a disquieting expression of lawlessness that seems to be ever-encroaching into our nation.

In view of this growing evil in our nation, which was established on not only law but on the principles of GOD'S law as found in the BIBLE, may people of faith comply with the prophet's challenge in Isaiah 60:1, 2. May they shine the LIGHT of JESUS so profoundly that the darkness engulfing the earth cannot diminish HIS glory.
