It is wonderful when friends come together after a season of being apart. True friends can always pick up where they left off. True friends share one another's burdens and true friends who know JESUS also share uplifting experiences that they have had as HE has worked in and through their lives.
Yesterday, I had the joy of going to lunch with such a friend, as sister in CHRIST and our time together was blessed on many levels--as former co-workers, as long-time friends, as sisters in CHRIST, as believers in HIS miracle-working power today.
She shared the experience of her son's father-in-law who had been diagnosed with a large mass on his kidney. The surgeon to whom he was referred told him frankly that in all of his experience with such a condition, it was malignant.
The surgery was scheduled.
Prayer was lifted up.
Prayer warriors from many churches throughout the community were calling upon the LORD OUR HEALER to do a work in this man that would glorify HIMSELF.
When the surgery was performed, the mass was gone. There was no malignancy. There was nothing to remove. It was gone.
