When We Are In Warfare by M.S. Lowndes
Often when we're going through
A time of spiritual warfare,
Satan tries to attack our minds
And tell us God won't hear
He tells us we don't really have
The armour to wage war
And that we'll never win the battle,
We'll fail like times before
He tells us we won't make a difference,
Especially with those we love
The breakthrough we've been praying for
Won't happen, so just give up
We find that in our every day life,
Things seem to overcome
We find the very ones we love
Forever from Him run
We must be aware who's behind it all
And not let him have his way
Refuse to give in to anger and hurt,
Don't give him another day
For truly we are in a battle,
Fighting our enemy
And though, at times, it's so intense,
We shall have the victory!
Be encouraged, my friend, to carry on,
Resisting Satan's onslaught,
Holding onto Lord Jesus Christ,
God's word which we’ve been taught
Jesus is there interceding for you,
Every moment of the day
So tap into God's heavenly power
As your spirit continually prays.
In Jesus Name, pray continually! Give yourself to prayer!

"For though we walk in the flesh, we do not war after the flesh: For the weapons of our warfare are not carnal, but mighty through God to the pulling down of strong holds."
Ephesians 6:11
"Put on the whole armor of God, that you may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil."
Ephesians 6:12
"For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places."
II Timothy 4:7
"I have fought a good fight, I have finished my course, I have kept the faith..."
