Blessed Is the Nation

"Blessed is the nation whose God is the Lord."  Psalm 33:12

"If My people, who are called by My name, will humble themselves and pray, turn from their wicked way and seek My face, then will I hear from Heaven and forgive their sin and heal their land." II Chronicles 7:14

Lord Jesus, we come before You, claiming Your promise as we humble ourselves before You, as we repent of our sinfulness and our pursuit of the things of the world instead of the pursuit of Your truth and salvation.

We ask You to help us to walk faithfully in the path You have set before Your people and to allow the candle of Your holiness to shine brightly from our lives.

We ask You to send Your Holy Spirit to reign in the lives of Your people and to use Your people to bring others to Your throne of mercy and grace.

It is in Your mighty, matchless name we pray, Jesus. Amen.
