How precious to know that the Lord is faithful.
We live in a world where betrayal is commonplace. In a long-ago time, a person's word and his handshake were enough to seal a promise, but the integrity of mankind has declined since that time when America was noted for its devotion to CHRIST.
In following HIM, men kept HIS word, including that which said, "Let your yes be yes and your no be no." James 5:12 The word of a follower of the LORD was to be straightforward and without duplicity or subterfuge.
That level of integrity has been lost along with so much that has
changed as the citizens of this nation have left behind the innocence
that comes with faith.
We are all losers, for every one of us has forfeited the security that comes when trust--trust in our government, trust in our neighbor, trust in ourselves, trust in our GOD--pervades the culture in which we live.
Though government may fail, though men may fail, though we may fail, OUR SAVIOR AND LORD "WILL NEVER FAIL OR FORSAKE US!" Hebrews 13:5
When we put our trust in JESUS, we will be secure for our lifetime and secure for eternity, and when we have nurtured our children in the wisdom and admonition of the HOLY ONE, they, too will find HIM faithful.
Let us hide in HIM together.
