Sacrifices for Freedom

It may sound simplistic to say, "Freedom isn't free," but it is a profound truth that hasn't been said enough.

Neither the freedom purchased by our GIs during our nation's wars nor the freedom purchased by our SAVIOR at CALVARY should be devalued by our lack of esteem for them.

As we reflect upon MEMORIAL DAY and what it means to our national freedom, may we also be mindful of CHRIST'S cross and what it means to our eternal freedom.

As has been stated by President Thomas Jefferson, "Eternal vigilance is the price of freedom." May we be willing to pay the cost so this precious gift will not be lost to future generations.
