To our military:
THANK YOU FOR YOUR SERVICE!
Presidents come and go.
Congressmen come and go (yes, they sometimes linger too long).
Governors come and go.
Mayors come and go.
Elected officials should be chosen on their merit and their patriotism--as voters must keep in mind in this election year...
...But the military serve because they are brave and they love freedom.
They are young men who place themselves between the nation and its foes. May they ever be the recipients of our utmost honor and praise.
Again, with hearts overflowing with gratitude we say,
