NEVER FORGET!
The day is forever etched in the memories of those who lived through it.
The shroud of mystery.
The anxiety of waiting.
The trauma of loss.
The dread of more to come.
The Twin Towers were gone. The Pentagon had been attacked. A field in
Pennsylvania would never again be just a part of the landscape of
rolling hills and fruitful valleys.
Many of us went back to church because the attack made us realize how vulnerable we were and how suddenly things can change.
On this day of remembering, have we forgotten?
