Our news media has fallen from its high estate. There was a time when one could read the newspaper with as much confidence as he read the BIBLE.
Though not infallible, newsmen strove to be accurate. They did not allow their personal opinions to govern what they posted in the news they reported. That is not true today.
It is virtually impossible to read the news without detecting bias, and that bias is statistically liberal. Therefore, much of what we read in news magazines and in the nightly newspaper as well as what we see on television news programs will reflect a liberal slant.
Julian Assange, for all his faults, has endeavored to bring balance to the reporting of the news.
For that reason, his interview on this evening's Sean Hannity program might be worth watching.
The WORD of GOD that stands alone as infallible and reliable says, "You shall know the TRUTH, and the TRUTH shall make you free." It therefore behooves us to seek the TRUTH and to recognize it when we find it.
To cling to our own proclivities rather than to embrace TRUTH is to relegate ourselves to being uninformed and easily manipulated.
Will Assange speak the TRUTH?
How will we know if we do not listen to his words and lay them before the LORD who is TRUTH?
