"HE will give HIS angels charge over you, to keep you in all your ways." Psalm 91:11
JESUS said that the guardian angels of children stand before GOD. We can guess that their purposes are myriad.
Here are a few:
1. To give an account of their guardianship of the children.
2. To note the challenges that have faced the children.
3. To suggest the experiences that would strengthen the faith of the children.
4. To share the ways the answers to the children's prayers might be supplied.
5. To report the incidents where their intervention was required to protect the child from physical or spiritual harm.
You, believer, are a child of GOD. Your angel stands before HIM, offering suggestions regarding your life.
We are not to pray to angels, nor do we presume that angels intercede in our behalf. The WORD tells us clearly that there is "one MEDIATOR between GOD and man--CHRIST JESUS"--but we can trust our angels to be on assignment.
They are mighty warriors in Heaven's Army, and they stand guard around GOD'S own people.
The story is told by a missionary of a night when, as reported by their converts after their transformation from darkness to light, when a group that hated them approached their tent at night with the intention of killing them.
The report, after the conversion of the tribesmen, was that when they approached the tent, they saw a group of huge "men" standing guard around the sleeping missionaries.
The missionaries were sure these were angels, guarding them from harm.
It is such who stand guard over you, person of faith.
