"The Rock" is a hero in the eyes of a lot of young people, and, by today's standards, well he should be...he plays characters who, though somewhat flawed, endeavor to do what is right, to elevate the downtrodden, to exercise his great strength with self-deprecating good humor, and to assure that the 'bad guys' never win in the end.
It is his conviction that guys who play good guys are at a lower rung of the hero ladder than are those truly brave men and women who have given of themselves, who have sacrificed their safety, for the good of the whole, for the well-being of the nation.
