There is nothing you can give up for the sake of attaining the KINGDOM of HEAVEN that is worth holding, for the GOD who loves you asks nothing of you that is not for your good.
Whatever your sin may be, whether great or small in the eyes of the world is of equal significance in the eyes of GOD to the most grievous sin ever committed by the worst people who have every done evil.
How can that be?
How can my sins compare to those of Hitler?
How can my 'indiscretions' compare to the wickedness of terrorists?
Because in GOD'S eyes, anything that falls short of HIS perfection is sin.
ANYTHING.
To break the law in one small point is to be guilty of the whole law.
Attaining Heaven is not done by increments. Gaining admission to the Realm of Glory is not determined by a scale that weighs your good against your bad deeds.
Gaining or losing Heaven is dependent upon one thing alone--what you do with JESUS.
To reject HIM and HIS sacrifice for your sin is to relegate yourself to a CHRIST-less grave.
To confess and renounce your sin is to receive the cleansing that makes you guiltless in the eyes of the HOLY ONE.
