The Events of History

"Those who don't remember the events of history are doomed to repeat them," Edmund Burke.

The above quote by Edmund Burke has been stated with various small differences by many astute individuals who recognize man's proclivity to forget significant and meaningful events of the past to the detriment of his future.

Whether we are students of history who hearken to the events of history with profound understanding of the events that foreshadowed them and the circumstances that followed them or whether we are oblivious to the impact of what has transpired upon future eventualities, we all must pause for at least a moment to recognize that avoidance of the repetition of dire events of yesterday is important to us and to our progeny.

With that truth in mind, perhaps more of us should be supportive of our leadership regarding the effort to quell immigration from nations that harbor those who seek our destruction. Perhaps more Americans should become educated regarding the tenets of a worldview that seeks to dominate the entire earth and everyone who lives on the planet.

It is not prejudice; it is not bias; it is not discrimination to endeavor to shield ones nation from the horrific schemes, from the diabolical goals of haters. It is every citizen's duty to learn what he needs to know in order to do what he needs to do to save himself, to save his nation, from the evil machinations of the wicked forces that would destroy them.
