Most of us agree that the Assemblies of God is a great church with a great heritage which we love and cherish, but the church and many of its people are presently facing a crisis of eroding of fundamental beliefs and values.

As AG conservatives, we are ALL concerned about the present moral bankruptcy of our country and about what the future may hold for us as a nation.

We ALL realize the grave importance of the present and soon to come elections. It is imperative that our country turn back to God, and we all desire leaders who will take us in the right direction.

However, sometimes the choices before us are tough ones.

AG Conservatives do not always agree about what actions to take when it comes to deciding which candidates are the best moral or conservative choice, or if we should assume the position of choosing between "the lesser of two evils" or abstain from the political process completely because of the objectionable choices before us.

Each person needs to pray effectually about what the Lord would have him to do and proceed according to his God given conviction. No one should ever be hateful to another or try and make another feel that because he does not line up exactly with him on such issues that he is not a conservative Christian who cares about our country.

Let's all bind together and pray for a mighty spiritual awaking in our Country that transcends religious denominations, and for God’s will in the elections.

Let's pray that once again, God heals and raises up the Assemblies of God to be an influence for Godliness in our land.

Let’s pray that all people of faith, of all Christian persuasions, unite in concerted prayer for this nation.

Let’s pray that the Lord will raise up leaders who will be godly and who will honor Christ.
