Faith Is...

"Faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen." Hebrews 11:1

When JESUS was beaten with the cruel 'Roman Cat of Nine Tails,' when 40 lashes from that cruel instrument of torture were laid on HIS sinless back, it did not appear that HE had a victory over sin and death.

When CHRIST bore HIS heavy cross to Golgotha and HIS hands and feet were pierced, HE did not appear to be more than a conqueror.

When the LORD of LIFE was placed in a borrowed tomb and the heavy stone was rolled over the entrance, and a Roman guard was posted, HE did not seem to be the LORD OF LIFE.

But faith is about the fact that things are not always what they seem.
