Our Savior and our God, tomorrow is that day --GOOD FRIDAY-- that seems so misnamed. How can it be good, for on this day, the ONE PERFECT MAN WHO EVER LIVED was crucified?
But we know that we don't see things as You see them, we know we look at the cross and see our own guilt hung there with Your sacrifice. We know that because You love us, You were willing to pay that enormous price. We know that because You love us, You spent Yourself for our free gift.
There are no words adequate to express our gratitude, so we will say
simply and with humble hearts placed at Your feet, "Thank You, JESUS,
for Your 'unspeakable gift.'" II Corinthians 9:15
