This place has such great significance to our faith because this is where our Savior chose to live His life among men.
We are told to "Pray for the peace of Jerusalem, for they shall prosper who love you." Psalms 122:6
Then,
accompanied by the disciples, Jesus left the upstairs room and went as
usual to the Mount of Olives. There he told them, "Pray that you will
not give in to temptation.”
