Once--Long Ago

   There was a time when all retailers closed on holidays such as Thanksgiving and Christmas as well as on Sundays. Believe it or not, the economy was booming then and America was in the black as a nation.

   The retailers closed their shops in respect for the GOD who was being honored by the holiday, by the ONE who said, "Remember the Sabbath Day and keep it holy."
   ...

   Perhaps if we were to return to those values today, our economy would thrive once again. Perhaps our country would be the head and not the tail among the society of nations.
4. 
   Perhaps we should be among those who advocate a restoration of the values and practices that were in effect when we were secure in our world ranking because we were secure in our relationship with the HOLY ONE.
