Is Donald Trump the perfect candidate for President of the United States of America? It certainly doesn't appear that he is.
He is brash.
He seems arrogant.
He is self-satisfied.
He is politically incorrect.
To some people, these 'negative attributes' are credited for his
phenomenal success with voters... voters who feel their voice has been
lost in the politically correct jargon of recent years.
People who feel their leaders have been too concerned about appeasing the enemy who is bent upon the destruction of our culture and our nation to be about the business of assuring their failure to attain that goal.
Donald Trump has submitted himself to one entity--the presumed leaders of the Christian world--he has enlisted and received their prayers.
The one thing believers in CHRIST have that exceeds anything the evil one can introduce into the political arena is "that same power that raised JESUS from the dead..." Romans 8:11.
May we use that power to direct the course of the election process; may we use that power to implore that the LORD have HIS way in the outcome of the November election.
We will then know that whoever wins the presidency, we have been instruments for good in the result.
