"Behold, I stand at the door and knock. If any man hear MY voice and open the door, I will come in to him and dine with him and he with ME."
JESUS is a gentleman. HE won't force HIS way into your life. You have a free will and that freedom of choice covers every decision you make. You may choose what you will believe regarding JESUS, just as you may choose the course of study you will pursue, the person you will marry, the candidate for whom you will vote.
You may choose whether you will spend eternity in HEAVEN or in hell. All other choices pale in comparison to that one ultimate choice your free will allows to you.
If you pursue the wrong career, you may endure a job rather than enjoy a
job. If you marry the wrong person you may have a troubled rather than
a loving marriage. If you vote for the wrong candidate, you may
relegate yourself to a loss of freedoms you hold dear.
But if you deny the SAVIOR, if you choose to ignore or disdain HIS unspeakable gift of deliverance from your sins, you will languish eternally in more misery than the human mind can fathom...you will relinquish forever the wonder of the Realm of Glory at the throne of CHRIST, the King of kings.
HE is knocking at the door of your heart.
Let HIM in.
