The world in which we live is being shaken by a force that is unlike the previous forces of evil that have assailed peace and stability. There is an ideology afoot that intends "culture jihad" against any nation that doesn't receive its tenets.
This ideology has ruthlessly attacked nations and religions that refused its claim of dominion in previous centuries, leaving death and devastation in its wake. In the remaking of history, the story of its assault against humanity is retold with the perpetrator being the victim. The distorted message resonates to those whose knowledge of the past is negligible.
To successfully counter an enemy whose weapons are not only guns and
missiles but also lies and distortions, the power in which we trust must
be not only military strength but also the GOSPEL OF TRUTH.
If we are not willing to stand for something high and lofty, we will fall for anything--including the lie from the pit of hell that the enemy is endeavoring to impose upon us.
May we be willing to raise up the only viable standard against the deception that is washing against us, and that is the BIBLICAL MESSAGE of JESUS CHRIST and HIM CRUCIFIED for fallen man.
May we, as President Theodore Roosevelt stated, be willing to "TALK SOFTLY, BUT CARRY A BIG STICK."
That "BIG STICK" is not only military might but ETERNAL TRUTH!
