FEAR has two meanings.
One will render you a coward who flees before a foe.
One will render you "more than a conqueror," Romans 8:37, who defeats every foe.
The enemy of your soul would have you to be afraid of everything; the
devil wants you to bow before him in fear of what he can do to you. It
is his awful intent that you be prostrate, that you be bowed, at the
altar of sin that will deliver you into hell.
But the LORD who loves you and who died for you has said, "FEAR GOD AND KEEP HIS COMMANDMENTS; THIS IS THE WHOLE DUTY OF MAN." Ecclesiastes 12:13
If you face everything and rise in HIS POWER to the challenges before you in time, you will not need to fear life eternal, for it will be spent at HIS throne within the corridors of Heaven.
HE HAS PROMISED!
