There is a reason the founding fathers of this nation included "the right to bear arms" within the Bill of Rights.
Will we forgo that right?
The brave men who pledged their "lives, their fortunes their sacred honor" to the establishment of a new nation born in freedom would be aghast to think that we their heirs would contemplate the relinquishing of one of the things for which they risked so much.
Will we be the generation that, by our callous disregard of our
hard-won freedoms sacrifices them at the altar of our indifference to
future generations?
