"They that be wise shall shine as the brightness of the sun."
They who are wise are those who accept Jesus as their Savior and Lord. The light that shines from them is His reflected truth, His reflected love, His reflected power, His reflected hope, His reflected glory.
They who are wise realize they have no light of their own but are like the moon, which having no light of its own, reflects the light of the sun. To the degree the moon reflects the sun, it is able to illumine the night.
Man, having no light of his own, when He allows the Savior to bathe him
in His light, is able to illumine the darkness; to overcome the
darkness of sin and depravity with the LIGHT OF JESUS, who is THE LIGHT
OF THE WORLD.
