Holiday Travel

Travel at the holiday season can be daunting because traffic is heavy but patience is thin. Drivers who are laden with gifts and waning holiday cheer are eager to be home, to be back to their normal routine.

As you endeavor to return to you usual endeavors, attempt to take with you some of the good will toward men that you felt when the celebration of Christ's birth was fresh in you heart. Try to maintain the joy and peace that filled your spirit when you allowed His Spirit to fill you.

Although the compulsion to lapse into the routine of day-to-day mindsets and attitudes will be strong, try to be resolute in your determination to allow the Christ who came to make you new to be real and fresh in your conduction of yourself through the ups and downs of life.

Rather than return to the sameness of each day, allow yourself to be fully transformed by the renewal of your mind to the mind of Christ, Romans 12:2, I Corinthians 2:16.

Let yourself see as He sees, feel as He feels, hear as He hears, love as He loves. With this surrender of your will and your way to His, you will be bringing HIM to life before countless sojourners through time.

You will be bringing meaning to others as HE has brought meaning to you, for the living epistle of your life is indeed read of all men, II Corinthians 3:2. Allow everyone who sees you to watch in wonder as you walk with the Master.

Allow everyone who sees you to observe your bold, confident steps into the future beside the One who holds the future in the hollow of His hand.
