Our great and glorious God who inhabits eternity, we continue to beseech You in the behalf of our nation. Your Word tells us that there will come a day when, "The vile man shall no longer be called 'liberal,'" Isaiah 32:5, and we recognize that day in our land today.
We see the promotion of sin under the guise of a 'liberal' agenda and we repent of the blindness of our leaders and of our countrymen who cannot see the depth of the depravity that they promote.
We repent of our individual sin and of our collective national sin. We ask You, Jesus, to wash us clean again by our repentence before You and our rededication of ourselves and our country to You and to Your Kingdom's purposes.
You have used the United States mightily in the propagation of Your gospel and You have used the generous heart of this people to lift the world's downtrodden. Restore us to Yourself so we may be prosperous again--in the spirit of our land and in the economy of our land.
Give us hearts to know You and love You and receive You in the fullness of who You are in the heart of who we are as a people. In Your mighty name we pray, Jesus. Amen.
