Our great God and King, the totality of life is in Your hands. You formed all that is by Your Word, You hold the worlds in place by Your power and You established the plan of salvation because of Your love.
I ask You to look upon us, Your errant creation, with mercy and grace, to see our plight, to see the dangers that encompass us as individuals and as a nation and I ask You to extend Your mighty hand to cover us, to shield us from the forces of evil that would engulf us.
You, dear Jesus, can speak and the hatred that is hurled against us must be abated. You, dear Jeasus, can speak and the economic calamity that has befallen us can be overcome with prosperity once again. You, dear Jesus, can speak and our hearts will be tender toward You again.
We ask You to undo the mischief of the enemy that has reduced our faith to a perfunctory exercise and to cause us to be on fire again for You! Let revival sweep our land and let renewal lift our spirits that we may be true reflections of our holy God. In Your mighty name we pray, Jesus. Amen.
