Dear Heavenly Father, You have said in Your holy Word the Bible that believers may approach Your Throne of Mercy and Grace any time and You would always allow them entrance into the Holy of Holies.
When Jesus hung on the cross, the veil of separation was rent and access was given that had once been for only the priests who were allowed to enter only at the prescribed time with the prescribed sacrifice.
Because You have given permission to enter, I come before You with the need of my country for cleansing and restoration and deliverance from the evil forces that have come against this land that was given to You by our founding fathers. You said that I may ask anything of You in accordance with Your will and You would do it.
Your Word says it is Your will for all men to be saved (I Timothy 2:3,4). I ask then, that salvation come upon this people and that in being saved from sin, they will also be saved from all the oppression of the enemy. Let citizens, tourists, aliens, people of high degree and low come to Jesus and be blessed.
