Lord Jesus, without being presumptuous, may I remind You that Your Word tells us that those who, "Bring the tithe into the storehouse..." according to Malachi 3:10 may then, prove You, prove Your promise that because they gave to Your purposes, You would, "...open the windows of heaven and pour out a blessing that they cannot contain."
Lord God, the United States of America has been the most generous of countries. From these shores have gone forth missionaries to share Your Word with the lost. From these shores has gone financial aid, medical assistance, and technological and educational help to the downtrodden.
I ask You to be mindful of the good and generous heart of Your people who dwell here and to bring to fruition Your promise to open Your coffers of heavenly treasure and restore the faltering economy of this land.
Bring prosperity to us again, dear Jesus, that we may continue to be Your hand outstretched in compassion to the needy and with the truth of Your salvation to the lost. In Your matchless name I pray, Jesus. Amen.
