Father God, help us who believe in You, believe in Your Holy Child Jesus, who believe in the power of prayer and the authority You have invested in us to stay the course of prayer for our nation.
Forbid, Lord that we should simply watch as corruption and distain for the principles on which this great country has been established become more and more evident from those who should be the advocates of our citizenry and the bearers of the truth of our heritage to the world.
Allow us to remain on our knees before You in the behalf of our nation. Help us to pray through until we see our economy turned around, our national image arighted and above all, until this people, this place that was laid at Your feet at its inception shall be a reflection of Your glory again.
Let us, with holy boldness proclaim Your name and Your Word; and let us never falter in our commitment to You--no matter what may befall in the world's course of events. Let revival sweep our land that we may be holy and wholly Yours. Yet let us shout, as Your disciples when they endured hardship, "Even so, come, Lord Jesus."
