We know that one day, all the nations of the world will be under the rule of the One who is the King of kings and Lord of lords. We know that one day, "every knee shall bow and every tongue shall confess that Jesus Christ is Lord..." Romans 14:11
In the meantime, nations, like individuals, go their own way. They pursue their own goals and live by their own rules rather than pursuing the will of God and living by His immutable law. Because of the rebellion of men and of nations, the world is in ever-increasing turmoil.
May we who believe in the Savior who took on flesh and lived the perfect, sinless life we cannot live and died in our place and rose for our victory over sin, hell and the grave lift our prayers continually to His Throne of Mercy and Grace in the behalf of our fellow sinners and of our nations.
