Guard Your Truth

"Thou shalt not kill." Exodus 20:13
"Thou shalt not bear false witness." Exodus 20:16
From the Ten Commandments given to the Jews by God
"Love your enemies. Do good to those who persecute you and dispitefully use you." Luke 6:27
"If Your enemy hungers, give him food." Romans 12:20
Words of Jesus to His followers

"Slay unbelievers wherever you find them." Sura 2:191

The basic tenets of Judaism require honor and integrity from adherents to the Jewish faith. God's chosen people were required to comport themselves after the law which the Holy One gave to His servant Moses. That law was handed down to and expanded to Christians to include extending the law of kindness to even ones foes.

The thread of holiness is woven into the scriptures of Judaism and Christianity by the mighty Jehovah God who expects those who believe in Him to reflect His character and integrity.

Jesus, in addition to being the Savior of mankind to all who will accept His propitiatory, attuning death in their behalf was also the perfect reflection of God.

Jesus own words declared this truth when He said, "If you have seen Me, you have seen the Father." John 14:9

The god of Islam does not evidence these same qualities. The god of Islam adjures his followers to lie to promote Islam. The god of Islam is vengeful and ruthless in his treatment of those who do not submit--and he commands those who follow him to evidence the same relentless destruction toward adherents of other beliefs.

The god of Islam admonishes his followers to steal from, to lie to, to rape, to make slaves of, to murder anyone who will not acquiesce to the imposition of islamic law upon them. In this regard, he sounds much like the description of the one who "comes to steal, kill, and destroy." John 10:10

We live in an age of deception. Men are calling "evil good and good evil." Isaiah 5:20

Guard your heart and your mind. Guard your TRUTH! Hold fast to the ONE WHO IS "THE WAY, THE TRUTH, AND THE LIFE." John 14:6
