Fear
We live in a dark time. The world seems shrouded in an ever-increasing sense of foreboding. The darkness of hatred seems poised to overtake the Gospel of Love.
But we must not be afraid of what we see, for the Holy, Immutable Word of our Holy, Immutable God tells us quite clearly that our Blessed and Almighty Savior "calls things that are not as though they were," Romans 4:17.
He is not bound by our limitations. He is not intimidated by the
machinations of satan. He is not fearful of hordes of men who have
surrendered themselves to the purposes of hell.
No. Our God "knows the end from the beginning," Isaiah 46:10. He has always known that man would fall short of the glory of God, and He has always had a plan (See Revelation 8:13) to redeem fallen mankind.
And with all He knows, He has assured us at the point of our profoundest anxiety, "Fear not, for I am with you. Be not dismayed, for I am your God. Behold, I will help you; I will hold you up with the strong hand of My righteousness," Isaiah 41:10.
Don't be afraid, for "HE WHO IS IN YOU IS GREATER than he who is in the world," I John 4:4
