Earthquake

Earthquake

The U.S. Geological Survey has confirmed a 4.8 magnitude earthquake hit about 38 miles east of Hoback in western Wyoming. The earthquake occurred at about 2:47 p.m. at a depth of 10 km, according to the USGS website. It is unclear if the quake has resulted in any damage.

The Idaho State Journal also reports that this quake was felt inside Yellowstone National Park.

Father God, if the Yellowstone Caldera explodes, one million people will die. As the nations continue to endure significant earthquakes around the world, we see that our own nation is not exempt. Abba Father God, we call on Your mercy to be over us in this hour.

Lord, You were there when Moses descended from the mountain, only to find his people (Your people) worshiping a golden calf, made by their own hands. You were there when Moses cried out to You, to not hold this sin against them, and You heard his cry and spared Your people.

Lord God, just as Moses did, we cry out now for the safekeeping of our own people, even in the midst of our iniquity. We repent, we stand in the gap, and we beg for Your mercy, in Your Name, amen.

"But let him who glories glory in this, That he understands and knows Me, That I am the Lord, exercising lovingkindness, judgment, and righteousness in the earth. For in these I delight," says the Lord." Jeremiah 9:24
