FAST ON LABOR DAY WEEKEND

A CALL TO FAST ON LABOR DAY WEEKEND

"There remaineth therefore a rest to the people of God. . .
Let us labour therefore to enter into that rest…"Hebrews 10: 9,11

A CALL TO FAST ON LABOR DAY WEEKEND

"There remaineth therefore a rest to the people of God. . . Let us labour therefore to enter into that rest…"(Hebrews 10: 9,11

On Labor Day weekend (Sept. 2-5), our Lord is calling us to "labor to enter into His rest" . . . by fasting the viewing of any and all television programs during this 72-hour period.

The "talking heads" who continually give forth their own opinions on many topics need to be silenced. It is time to fix our gaze fully upon Him . . . "the author and the finisher of our faith." Let's turn our eyes AWAY from the world, and TOWARD our Lord!

So, we invite you to "Labor to enter into His rest" with us on Labor Day weekend, by turning off our television sets and turning unto Him.

Our fast begins at 6:00 p.m. EST on Friday, September 2nd and ends at 6:00 p.m. EST on Monday, September 5th.

We invite you, too, to "spread the word" about this call to fast with your own friends and prayer networks, far and wide!

As we each seek Him, in the beauty of holiness, perhaps we will hear His voice, saying "This is the way, walk ye in it." Let's allow the King of all kings and the Lord of all lords to be our own "Talking Head" on this Labor Day weekend.

Thank you!
