How to Take Care of Eternity

The GOSPEL is all we have.

Is that too encompassing a statement?

Then think about it for a minute...

You think you have a government that can supply the needs of those who cannot provide for themselves? What happens to that government and its vast resources if the people rise up to reclaim their right to their own resources?

You think you have the financial acumen to sustain yourself comfortably through a long, healthy, happy life? What happens if the unthinkable befalls this country and the world -- and the stock market and world-wide financial markets collapse?

You think you have sufficient insurance against any and all potential eventualities that could require assistance to replace your lost resources? What happens to you if insurance companies fail?

You think your generosity and your concern for those less fortunate and your exemplary moral comportment are your 'ticket' to eternal bliss? What happens when you appear at the Gates of Pearl and you are denied entry to Heaven because you neglected to allow JESUS CHRIST to be your SAVIOR and LORD?

Every person who is ever born must apprehend truth -- REAL TRUTH. Every person who is ever born must recognize the utter inability of any entity -- governmental or personal -- to provide for him in an ultimate sense.

The provision of everything you need, the provision of everything required for life for time and eternity is ultimately found in JESUS CHRIST, our only GOD and KING.

The signs of HIS soon return abound. At that juncture in time, it will be too late to realign your priorities to make HIM your SOURCE. When you are confronted with the realization that governments and financial portfolios must fail, it will be too late to put your trust in HIM ALONE.

"NOW is the accepted time; TODAY is the day of salvation." II Corinthians 6:2

Let JESUS be everything to you today -- and tomorrow and eternity will be taken care of.

2 Timothy 1:8: Therefore do not be ashamed of the testimony about our Lord, nor of me his prisoner, but share in suffering for the gospel by the power of God,
