A Prophetic Word
Perry Stone is a prominent TV preacher and evangelist and prophet. As he is represented here, he foresees oppressive times ahead in our nation. According to Rev. Stone, at least some of the onslaught of the evil one, predictably, will be against believers in Christ.
Others have an opposing point of view regarding the way the events of the closing days of time will unfold. There is a school of Christian thought that expects the faithful to be delivered out of the evil days altogether.
The reality is that none of us know with certainty how the events predicted in God's Holy Word will transpire.
What we do know is that HE has a plan; JESUS has promised to return and it behooves every person who is ever born to receive the "UNSPEAKABLE GIFT," II Corinthians 9:15, of salvation that has been purchased for us.
Whether we are 'raptured' and evil never touches us or whether we die peacefully in our beds, or whether we are among those who are slain for our faith, may we be found faithful to the end.
And may we say with the John, the Beloved Apostle, "Even so, COME, LORD JESUS," Revelation 22:20
