Christ arrived over 2000 years ago as a helpless baby. He was born to a godly but poor mother and a stepfather who were both of the royal line of David, establishing the credentials of JESUS as "the Son of David."
The destruction of the Temple in Jerusalem at the hand of the Romans meant that no one else in time will ever be able to satisfy that prophetic requirement of the Messiah, for with the Temple, all genealogical records were destroyed.
The same Holy Book, the BIBLE, which contains over 300 prophesies of Jesus' first coming--all of which were fulfilled--also contains prophetic claims of His SECOND COMING.
The Bible is still TRUE. JESUS is still the "Wonderful Counselor, the
Mighty God, the Everlasting Father, the Prince of Peace," Isaiah 9:6,
who is coming again in power and in great glory.
He is coming to take His people to Himself and to conquer every foe. As certainly as every prophesy of His arrival in Bethlehem was fulfilled, so will be those that tell us that He will one day burst forth from the eastern sky as Conqueror and King.
